Meet the machine

WORKSHOP

Looking back, we've always been fascinated by machines and the idea of creating our own machine to craft something for us felt like a designer's dream.

With the support of our friends, we embarked on simultaneous research and the creation of the first prototype (which served us for the next 8 years). The machine resembled a box with a lid and a heating system mounted on wheels. We faced numerous challenges in perfecting the heating method before finally getting it right. We experimented with various techniques to detach the plastic sheet from the machine.

When we look at this initial machine, now resting beneath our working bench, we can't help but laugh - it's hard to imagine that it produced so many products.

A couple of years ago, we actively started contemplating a new machine because we wanted to produce larger and evenly thick panels. Additionally, we aimed to eliminate the burden of the heavy lid that strained our backs each time we lifted it. Moreover, our old machine lacked a thermostat, leaving us to estimate the temperature and toasting time during its usage.

Keeping in mind everything we learned from building the first machine and incorporating nearly all the features we wished for, we now possess a brand-new machine. We've recently started using it, so we'll keep you updated on any improvements and modifications.
